Twilio Flex is a programmable contact center. It gives engineering teams the building blocks to design every part of the agent experience. BlueTweak gives support teams a working contact center out of the box: voice, email, chat, social messaging, WFM, QA and AI, configured rather than coded.
Flex is designed to be customised in code, so routing, agent desktop changes and integrations become engineering work. That work also needs maintaining. In BlueTweak, support leads configure routing, SLAs, roles and knowledge base content themselves, with no dedicated admin needed.
A Flex named user starts at $150 per month. Depending on the billing model, usage of the underlying Twilio services is billed on top, and so is the engineering time to build and maintain the setup. BlueTweak includes voice, email, chat and social channels, at €0.65 per AI resolution with a minimum of 100 per agent per month.
BlueTweak includes ticketing, a shared knowledge base and help center, QA scorecards, WFM forecasting and scheduling, surveys, and dashboards. On Flex, each of these is built or integrated.
Most BlueTweak teams are live within four weeks, following a five-phase migration programme.

If you have an in-house engineering team, your contact center is a core part of your product, and you need full control over every screen and workflow, Flex's flexibility is the point. BlueTweak suits teams that would rather spend engineering time elsewhere.
BlueTweak's migration covers discovery, configuration, data and knowledge migration, integrations and validation, then a controlled go-live. Both systems can run in parallel. Existing systems connect through native connectors and BlueTweak's open API.
